Impasto stores everything on your device. Nothing leaves. There is no account, no tracking, and no analytics.
What's stored on your device
Impasto saves your preferences and any recipes you create. Active fermentation timers are tracked while in progress and shown in Live Activities.
What leaves your device
Nothing. Impasto makes no network requests and contacts no servers. It does not request, collect, or use your device's location, contacts, photos, microphone, or any other sensor or system data.
Impasto processes no personal data within the meaning of Article 4(1) of the GDPR — there is no controller-side processing because no data reaches a server. Your local data is protected by the same iOS sandbox isolation that protects every other app on your device.
Third-party libraries and services
Impasto does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or telemetry SDKs. The third-party libraries it does include provide only computational primitives — none collects, transmits, or otherwise processes user data.
How to remove your data
All Impasto data lives inside the app's iOS sandbox. To remove it, delete the app from your device — iOS removes the sandboxed data automatically as part of the standard uninstall. There is no server-side account to close.
Children
Impasto is a general-audience cooking app. It is not directed at children, and the app does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 — or under 16 in jurisdictions where the GDPR consent age is 16, including Poland.
If a parent or guardian has questions about the app on behalf of a child user, please contact the data controller below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same URL with an updated effective date below. Substantive changes will also be noted in the next app update's release notes.
Your rights under GDPR
Because Impasto does not collect or process personal data, there are no controller-held records to access, correct, export, or delete. If you believe this policy or the app misrepresents its data practices, you may contact the data controller below or file a complaint with your national supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).
